Worldwide Noise Phenomenon

Giant hoax or apocalyptic sounds?

Reports of strange noises in our skies around the globe have been invading the social and news media for some time.  The earliest upload I could find to YouTube of this phenomenon was August 11, 2011, however a number of new sound recordings have been uploaded since January 9th this year. The sounds are described as sky bound and compare to the rumbling of a train, a sonic boom or at times a trumpet (hence the apocalyptic sub heading above!).  They are always very loud and distracting to those in the vicinity. The fact that the noises have been reported to local authorities by entire communities confirms that something strange is occurring worldwide. 

Who can explain this phenomenon; well it would seem we have two contenders, the Scientific and UFO communities.

Scientists from various walks of life are postulating that the strange sounds could have been created by "fracking", rock bursts or the venting of high-pressure gas trapped deep within the Earth. Earthquakes may also cause the odd noises. Meteor showers are being put forward as a likely trigger, as well as changes to the magnetic field surrounding the Earth. Another suggestion being put forward is that The Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean basin is becoming more active, in conjunction with volcanic activity rising worldwide. Comforting words to those whose logic remains firmly in the physical plane.

If your mind is a little more open to the unexpected, then UFO’s have been touted as the cause. The fact that spaceships have not been spotted at the same locations as the strange noises has not been explained. Another interesting and popular theory is that that noise is made by a directed energy weapon (or HAARP High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program). These devices are hypothetically designed to manipulate the environment to disrupt human mental processes, jam global communication systems, change weather patterns over large areas, interfere with wildlife migration patterns, negatively affect your health, and have an impact on the Earth's upper atmosphere.
